FOURTH DAG HAMMARSKJÖLD ANNIVERSARY LECTURE TO BE HELD ON 14 NOVEMBER
This fourth in a series of lectures and conversations to mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of former United Nations Secretary-General Dag Hammarskjöld will be held on Monday, 14 November 2005 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Dag Hammarskjöld Auditorium.
Titled From Collections to Connections: Information and Knowledge for Global Decision-Making, the event will feature a panel discussion with Clare Hart, President and Chief Executive Officer of Factiva®, a Dow Jones and Reuters Company; Lawrence Prusak, Scholar in Residence at Babson College in Massachusetts; and Thomas Davenport, Professor, President’s Chair in Information Technology and Management at Babson College in Massachusetts. The discussion will be moderated by the Assistant-Secretary-General for Human Resources Management, Jan Beagle.
The series is being organized by the United Nations’ Dag Hammarskjöld Library with the support of the Government of Sweden.
