PRESS STATEMENTS BY SECURITY COUNCIL PRESIDENT ON TERRORIST ATTACK, THREATS

Following are press statements delivered Tuesday, 11 November, by Security Council President Ismael Abraão Gaspar Martins (Angola):

The President of the Security Council issued the following statements on behalf of the Council: 

Members of the Council condemned, in the strongest possible terms, the terrorist attack against the United Nations Headquarters in Kandahar, Afghanistan, that occurred on 11 November 2003.

Members of the Council expressed their deep concern over threats against United Nations personnel in Côte d’Ivoire, and, in particular, against the Special Representative of the Secretary-General in Côte d’Ivoire.
