UN'S ONLY FARSI WEB SITE GOES ONLINE

TEHRAN, 22 September (UNIC)-- The United NationsInformation Centre Tehran's Web site, featuring key United Nations documents in Persian, is now functioning, much to the appreciation of the people of Iran.

Constructed by a team of specialists, the service is generating a lot of interest and proving very useful.  In fact, it is the United Nations only Farsi/English Web site in the region that can eventually serve Afghanistan and Tajikistan.
