NETHERLANDS ELECTED TO UNAIDS COORDINATION BOARD BY ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL COUNCIL
In a brief meeting this morning, the Economic and Social Council elected the Netherlands to the Programme Coordination Board of the Joint United Nations Programme on Human Immunodeficiency Virus/Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (UNAIDS), for a term beginning 1 June and expiring on 31 December.
The Netherlands will complete the term of Portugal, which relinquished its seat on the Board.
The Council will meet again at a date to be announced.
