PRESIDENT OF UNITED NATIONS SECURITY COUNCIL AND CHAIRMAN

OF MILITARY STAFF COMMITTEE IN JUNE

In accordance with the principle of alphabetical rotation, the following are the President of the United Nations Security Council and Chairman of the Military Staff Committee for June:

Security Council

Anwarul Karim Chowdhury, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Bangladesh to the United Nations, succeeds James Cunningham, Acting Permanent Representative of the United States to the United Nations, as President of the Security Council.

Military Staff Committee

Lieutenant General Anatoly Meleshkov succeeds Major General Daniel Bastien as Chairman of the Military Staff Committee.
