CORRECTION
In Press Release GA/SPD/210 issued 3 October, the work programme approved by the committee was incorrectly reflected. The Committee approved the work programme in document A/C.4/56/L.1*. Accordingly, the fifth full paragraph should read as follows:
The Committee is expected to examine effects of atomic radiation (item 85) from 17 to 19 October and international cooperation in the peaceful uses of outer space (item 86) from 22 to 26 October. It will take up the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (item 87) on 29 October, and 1 to 2 November. On 5, 8 and 9 November it will consider the report of the Special Committee to Investigate Israeli Practices Affecting the Human Rights of the Palestinian People and Other Arabs of the Occupied Territories (item 88).
