UNITED NATIONS ANNOUNCES WINNERS OF FIRST VIENNA CIVIL SOCIETY AWARD CORRECTION

VIENNA, 6 July (UN Information Service) -- In Press Release SOC/NAR/806, issued Friday, 2 July, one of the names of the Vienna Civil Society Award winners was mistakenly reported in the first line of paragraph three as Chennai Shanti Ranganathan. The correct name is Shanti Ranganathan without "Chennai". Chennai is the city in India where Ms. Ranganathan lives.
