In Press Release GA/AB/3252 of 29 October, the summary of the statement by the representative of Bahrain that starts at the bottom of page 11 should read as follows:

ABDULLAH ABDULLATIF ABDULLAH (Bahrain) noted that some items were to be further studied by the Committee on Contributions. He hoped it would adopt recommendations to submit to the Assembly's fifty-fourth session. He noted that this year the Committee was not considering the scale of assessments, but he wanted to comment of the proposal for applying positive progressivity in assigning points arising from the adjustment to countries above the threshold. The Committee had reviewed the result of applying that approach with other elements of the current scale and with a range of different gradients above the threshold. It had noted that the proposal would involve shifting additional points to a very small number of Member States, and then had unanimously concluded that the proposal was not an acceptable solution to the problem of discontinuity. Bahrain fully supported that conclusion of the Committee on Contributions, as stated in paragraph 63 of its report. Further, his delegation supported the comment of the Group of 77 and China that the current agenda item related only to the regular scale budget.
