NOTE TO CORRESPONDENTS INTER-AGENCY INFORMATION FAIR TO BE HELD IN CONNECTION WITH UNITED NATIONS DAY

19981016

In the week leading up to United Nations Day, the Department of Public Information (DPI) is organizing the ninth annual Inter-Agency Information Fair to acquaint the public and all those who visit the Organization's Headquarters with the scope of activities undertaken by the United Nations system. The Fair will run from 20 to 23 October 1998 and will take place in the General Assembly Public Lobby.

The Information Fair will highlight the work of 27 United Nations programmes, specialized agencies, offices and departments.
