PRESIDENT OF BULGARIA TO VISIT HEADQUARTERS TODAY

The President of Bulgaria, Petar Stoyanov, will visit Headquarters today to meet with Secretary-General Kofi Annan.

President Stoyanov and his party will arrive at the Secretariat Entrance at 3 p.m., where he will be received by the Secretary-General. The President, accompanied by the Secretary-General and escorted by the Chief of Protocol, will proceed by special elevator to the thirty-eighth floor and to the office of the Secretary-General.

Following his meeting with the Secretary-General, President Stoyanov, escorted by the Chief of Protocol, will proceed by special elevator to the second floor to the office of the President of the General Assembly, Hennadiy Udovenko (Ukraine).

After paying a courtesy call on the Assembly President, the President will leave Headquarters by the Secretariat Entrance.
