SECURITY COUNCIL SANCTIONS COMMITTEES ELECTS OFFICERS FOR 1998
19980106 NEW YORK, 6 January (Department of Political Affairs) -- On 6 January, the President of the Security Council, Alain Dejammet (France), convened meetings of the Council's Sanctions Committees, which are composed of all members of the Council, to elect their respective bureaux for 1998.The composition of the elected bureaux is as follows:
