NOTE TO CORRESPONDENTS PRESIDENT OF TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO TO VISIT HEADQUARTERS ON 8 AND 9 OCTOBER

Arthur Napoleon Raymond Robinson, President of Trinidad and Tobago, will visit Headquarters on Wednesday, 8 October and Thursday, 9 October, to confer with Secretary-General Kofi Annan, to attend the inaugural ceremony of the Parlimentarians for Global Actions and to hold a press conference.

The President and his party will arrive at 11:55 a.m. on Wednesday, 8 October at the Secretariat Entrance, where he will be received by the Secretary-General.

President Robinson, accompanied by the Secretary-General, will then proceed to the thirty-eighth floor to confer with the Secretary-General.

At 12:30 p.m., President Robinson will proceed to Studio One for a radio interview. Following the interview, he will leave Headquarters from the Secretariat Entrance.

The President will return to Headquarters on Thursday, 9 October, to attend the inaugural ceremony of the Parlimentarians for Global Action at 9:15 a.m. in Conference Room 3.

At 11:15 a.m., President Robinson will hold a press conference in room 226.
