NOTE TO CORRESPONDENTS PRIME MINISTER OF JAMAICA TO VISIT HEADQUARTERS ON 25 SEPTEMBER

(Based on information received from the Protocol and Liaison Service.)

The Prime Minister of Jamaica, Percival James Patterson, will visit Headquarters on Thursday, 25 September, to address the General Assembly and to confer with Secretary-General Kofi Annan.

At 9:05 a.m., Prime Minister Patterson will arrive at the Delegates Entrance where he will be received by the Chief of Protocol. He will proceed to the West Foyer on the Second Floor, where he will wait for the invitation of Assembly President Hennadiy Udovenko (Ukraine) to proceed to the General Assembly Hall to deliver his address.

At 11:15 a.m., the Prime Minister will hold a press conference in room 226.

At 12:40 p.m., Prime Minister Patterson will proceed to the Secretary-General's office on the thirty-eighth floor to confer with the Secretary-General.

Following the meeting, the Prime Minister will leave Headquarters by the Secretariat Entrance.
