NOTE TO CORRESPONDENTS PRESIDENT OF ZIMBABWE TO VISIT HEADQUARTERS ON 22 AND 24 SEPTEMBER

The President of Zimbabwe, Robert G. Mugabe, will visit Headquarters on Monday, 22 September, to attend a luncheon hosted by the Secretary-General, and on Wednesday, 24 September, to address the General Assembly.
On 22 September, the President will arrive at the Delegates Entrance at 12:54 p.m., where he will be received by the Secretary-General. The President will then be escorted by the Chief of Protocol to the Second Floor and to the West Foyer to join other heads of State and government, who will attend a luncheon hosted by the Secretary-General in their honour.
The President, accompanied by the Secretary-General and escorted by the Chief of Protocol, will then proceed to the North Lounge where lunch will be served.
The luncheon will conclude at 2:50 p.m., and the President will depart Headquarters by the Delegates Entrance.
President Mugabe will return to Headquarters on Wednesday, 24 September. He will arrive at 9:25 a.m. at the Delegates Entrance, where he will be received by the Chief of Protocol. The President will be escorted to room GA- 200, where he will confer with the Secretary-General at 9:30 a.m.
The President will then proceed to the West Foyer to await the time of his address.
Following his speech, President Mugabe will be accompanied by the President of the General Assembly and the Secretary-General to room GA-200, where they will take their leave him. President Mugabe will leave Headquarters by the Delegates Entrance.
