UNITED NATIONS FINANCIAL SITUATION DISCUSSED AT DPI/NGO CONFERENCE CORRECTION

In the statement by the representative of Canada, in Press Release PI/970 of 12 September, the second sentence in the second complete paragraph on page 4 should read as follows:

"Twenty-five countries this year had paid their contribution in full and on time to the United Nations, and it was noteworthy that none of those countries were permanent members of the Security Council."
