NOTE TO CORRESPONDENTS PRIME MINISTER OF SWEDEN TO VISIT HEADQUARTERS ON 25 SEPTEMBER

The Prime Minister of Sweden, Göran Persson, will pay a visit to United Nations Headquarters on Wednesday, 25 September. He and members of his party will be met at the Delegates' Entrance at 11:15 a.m. by the Chief of Protocol. The Prime Minister will then be escorted to the West Foyer on the second floor.

After an address to the General Assembly, at approximately 12 noon the Prime Minister, escorted by the Chief of Protocol, will proceed to the office of Secretary-General Boutros Boutros-Ghali in the General Assembly building. After conferring with the Secretary-General, the Prime Minister will proceed to the first floor and leave Headquarters by the Delegates' Entrance.
