NOTE TO CORRESPONDENTS PRIME MINISTER OF LATVIA TO VISIT HEADQUARTERS

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Latvia, Andris Skele, is to visit United Nations Headquarters on Tuesday, 24 September. He will arrive at the Delegates' Entrance at 8:50 a.m. and proceed to the West Foyer to await the signing ceremony of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty.

Later, at the invitation of the President of the General Assembly, the Prime Minister will enter the Assembly Hall and address the assembled delegates.

At 12:30 p.m., Prime Minister Skele will meet with Secretary-General Boutros Boutros-Ghali in his office, and subsequently with the Assembly President in his office. Afterward, the Prime Minister will leave Headquarters by the Delegates' Entrance.
