NOTE TO CORRESPONDENTS PRIME MINISTER OF PAPUA NEW GUINEA TO VISIT HEADQUARTERS ON 23 SEPTEMBER

The Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea, Sir Julius Chan, will visit United Nations Headquarters on Monday, 23 September, to address the General Assembly and confer with the Secretary-General.
The Prime Minister and his party will arrive at the Delegates' Entrance at 1:15 p.m. and proceed to the West Foyer to join other heads of State and government attending a luncheon in the Delegates' Dining Room hosted by the Secretary-General in their honour.
After lunch, escorted by the Chief of Protocol, Sir Julius will then enter the General Assembly Hall at the invitation of the President of the General Assembly, where he will address the Assembly.
At about 5 p.m. the Prime Minister will proceed to the General Assembly office of the Secretary-General. After the meeting, Sir Julius and his party will leave Headquarters by the Delegates' Entrance.
