NOTE TO CORRESPONDENTS PRIME MINISTER OF NORWAY TO VISIT HEADQUARTERS ON SEPTEMBER 23

The Prime Minister of Norway, Gro Harlem Brundtland, will visit United Nations Headquarters on Monday, September 23, to address the General Assembly.

At 1:15 p.m., she will arrive at the Delegates' Entrance, and proceed to the second floor and to the West Foyer to join other heads of State and government attending a luncheon in the Delegates' Dining Room hosted by Secretary-General Boutros Boutros-Ghali.

At 2.50 p.m., she will go to the General Assembly Hall where, at the invitation of the President, she will address the Assembly.

After her speech, Prime Minister Brundtland will leave Headquarters by the Delegates' Entrance.
