NOTE TO CORRESPONDENTS PRESIDENT OF BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA TO VISIT
19960920 HEADQUARTERS ON 23 AND 25 SEPTEMBER(Based on information received from the Protocol and Liaison Service.)
The President of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Alija Izetbegovic, will visit United Nations Headquarters on Monday, 23 September, to attend a luncheon with Secretary-General Boutros Boutros-Ghali.
The President and his party will arrive at 1:04 p.m. at the Delegates' Entrance where he will be received by the Secretary-General. After the luncheon from 1:30 p.m. to 2:50 p.m. in the Delegates' Dining Room, he will leave by the Delegates' Entrance.
President Izetbegovic will visit Headquarters again on Wednesday, 25 September 1996, to meet with the Secretary-General and address the General Assembly. He and his party will arrive that day at 2:30 p.m. at the Delegates' Entrance.
He will be escorted by the Chief of Protocol to the office of the Secretary-General, and then to the General Assembly Hall where he will address the Assembly.
The President will depart from Headquarters by the Delegates' Entrance.
