The second complete paragraph on page 9 of Press Release ECOSOC/5676 of 19 July should read as follows:

"YAMINA BENNAMI (Morocco) reiterated her Government's reservation on the number of refugees quoted in the UNHCR report. The figure of 165,000 refugees mentioned in that report had never been verified by UNHCR through a census. The United Nations Mission for the Referendum in Western Sahara (MINURSO) had estimated a maximum of 65,000 persons including children; some sources had indicated that the figure would be substantially reduced once the conditions for the identification were fulfilled."
