NOTE TO CORRESPONDENTS PRIME MINISTER OF GREECE TO VISIT HEADQUARTERS, 12 APRIL

The Prime Minister of Greece, Costas Simitis, will visit Headquarters on Friday, 12 April, to confer with Secretary-General Boutros Boutros-Ghali.

Prime Minister Simitis and his party will arrive at the Secretariat Entrance at 11:15 a.m. He will be met by the Assistant Chief of Protocol, who will escort him on the special elevator to the thirty-eighth floor where he will be greeted by the Secretary-General.

The Prime Minister and the Secretary-General will proceed to the office of the Secretary-General where they will confer. After their talks, Prime Minister Simitis, accompanied by the Secretary-General, will proceed to the elevators where the Secretary-General will bid him farewell.

The Prime Minister, escorted by the Assistant Chief of Protocol, will proceed by special elevator to the first floor and leave United Nations Headquarters from the Secretariat Entrance.
